In Plane Maker you can add different instruments to the existing aircraft files, or to your own. This enables you to give an old Cessna an up to date glass cockpit, or add supplemental instruments like those below.

This is a second naviagation display which works of the Nav 1 radio. You select the VOR radial using the dial or it can be used for checking the glidescope by tuning in an ILS frequency |

This Vertical Speed Indicator (VSi) works just like a standard one, but shows a higher range, ie, 5,000 feet per minute ascent/descent |
This represents an Argus 5000 moving map display, just like the one seen in the glass cockpits, but is smaller and so is used in light aircraft. |
This weather display shows bad weather and can be turned on or off. This can be useful in flight sims as the more things you have on, the slower the computer gets becouse it has to work more things out |
The "glider kinetic energy meter" is a G-Meter, used in aerobatic aircraft. Displays force that "shoves you in your seat" or "yanks you out of it." |
The radar (or radio) altimeter shows your height above GROUND level. The dial moves the red line so that when you get to that altitude a voice will say "minimums", which can be used to tell you that you are at the minimum height allowed when landing |

An RMI. I think this works in a similar way to an ADF |
The stormscope shows storm activity, the little cross just in front of the plane shows a bolt of lightning |
You can also alter the IAS (Indicated Air Speed) instruments appearance. This one is used for jets and shows knots on the dial, and mach speed (mach 1=speed of sound) in the readout tape near the top. |

This is a Boeing style instrument. In version 4 you will be able to create your own instrument faces |
