Equipment used for music

We are using a range of high and low end musical equipment, most i'm sure you will recognise. As we became more into track organising we started using the yamaha 790 and 795s midi linked to the yamaha TG 100.

The range of sounds were suitable at the time and we still use the TG 100 for planning new tunes.

Other instruments that were linked to the yamahas were the korg poly 800.

A major player in most of our early music creation due to the ability of it's running bassline abilities. Linked to this was the Roland Alpha Juno 1 and the yamaha RY10 drum machine and bassline module. We had an extra module called the Boss DR synth DS 330,which had clear crisp sounds matched with outstanding effects.

As time went by we bought more advanced musical equipment being, the Korg M1 and the Korg Trinity. But our favourite to date,is the Roland MC 505 Groove box,and the Korg prophecy.

We also have the steinberg waveform and sequencer system on computer so as to engineer and convert to mp3 using the creative Labs digital audio software.
Unfortunately the sounds are not studio perfect, but we are working on that, and as for so called noise removing software for old tunes, well trust me don't waste your money. If your a musician it's best to do the tune again or leave it as an origional 'warts an all'.

One thing that remains the same,is that a good tune is a good tune rough or smooth.
