Ken Ham (ed.) - The New Answers Book: A towering monument to the creationist cause. Without a trace of irony, Ham et al. arguably overshadow Lear and Milligan, the accepted grand masters of nonsense. A class of 14-year-olds could have written a more convincing collection of essays. Completely unhinged, this is the most preposterous charicature of evolution science, so to understand fully why this book is so wrong, read about evolution first. Then settle down for a good giggle.  Ken Ham & Luther Sunderland - The Lie, Evolution: You thought the answer to life, the universe and everything was fourty-two (6 x 9). Wrong! Ham, one of the world's leading philosophists, 'proves' that Bronze Age desert tribesmen 3,000 years ago had a better grasp of reality than twenty-first century scientists. Apparently, evolution isn't just an error of gigantic proportions, it's a malicious lie put about by the boffins who, to a man, are wicked atheists in the pay of Satan.  Ken Ham - The Great Dinosaur Mystery, Solved!: Dinosaurs and men once roamed the Earth as contemporaries. Before Adam's fall (the curse) all dinosaurs were vegetarian. Tyrannosaurus rex took to meat eating (man eating?) because the first humans shared an apple. How does Ken know? It says so in the Good Book.  Jonathan Sarfati - Refuting Evolution 1 & 2: In concise big print, a top creation scientist (PhD no less) explains as best he can (he's not very good at biology) why the theory of evolution is entirely wrong. Volume 2 is a bungled reassessment of the situation after volume 1 proved to be somewhat flawed.  Paul Taylor - Truth, Lies & Science Education: Did you realise that children are being taught the wicked doctrine of evolution in our schools? Taylor explores this evil in the light of Biblical 'truth' and a lamentably poor understanding of science. Another Paul Taylor is the author of another barmy book: 'The Great Dinosaur Mystery and the Bible'. It's on its way from Amazon and I'll report on it ere long. [STOP PRESS 11-04-08 P.S. Taylor's dinosaur book - aimed at children - is dangerous drivel.]  Duane T. Gish - EVOLUTION: The Fossils Still Say No!: BEWARE. Unless you're very stupid, the works of Ham, Sarfati, Taylor et al. won't slip past your boloney filter, but this might. Gish has an impressive grasp of palaeontology, but it's way out of date and grossly misrepresented here. He selects and 'adjusts' science to fit his agenda, but each apparently reasonable scientific argument contains no original data or ideas ('It's God's Creation' - yawn). Read Prothero before or after; then you'll see.  William Dembski - Intelligent Design, the bridge between science & theology: Dembski is one of the pioneers of I.D. His ideas have been largely superceded, serially replaced as I.D. retreats in the face of science.  Phillip E. Johnson - The Wedge of Truth: Johnson declares the mission of I.D. It's not to reveal the truth, but '...to drive the thin edge of our Wedge into the cracks in the log of naturalism by bringing long-neglected questions to the surface and introducing them into public debate.' As each log splits it is swiftly and convincingly repaired by proper science.  Michael Behe - Darwin's Black Box: the latest version of I.D. from a creationist biochemist. The substance of this book was swiftly dispatched by real biochemists, so Behe moved sideways and wrote 'The Edge of Evolution', the content of which was similarly countered by science. Behe and his beliefs took a severe pasting by the Judge during the Kitzmiller vs. Dover court case which deemed I.D. not to be science.
Henry H. Morris - What is Creation Science? If you can bear it, here is the last word on so-called creation science from its inventor. If you know some biology, then you'll soon see this is cover-to-cover nonsense (twaddle/crap etc.), but don't let me spoil your enjoyment.  Paul S. Taylor - THE GREAT DINOSAUR MYSTERY AND THE BIBLE Another Paul Taylor helps you to teach your children total boloney. Of all the zillions of already extinct organisms it was only the dinosaurs that (allegedly) shared the planet with early man in this ludicrous conflation of science and myth. Slyly introduces volcanic activity into the Noah's Flood scenario to help validate the muddle that is creation geology.  Anon. - LIFE - How did it get here? By evolution or by creation? As muddled as the rest, but a lot nicer. I got a copy for 1p +P&P from Amazon, so click here to get yours.  Harun Yahya - Atlas of Creation (3 vols.) Yahya is Ken Ham clutching the Qur'an who reckons he has Dawkins on the run. Declares evolution to be a lie because, when he compares living organisms with similar fossils, they are always identical and, therefore, have not changed over time. Selected pairs are not identical (some belong to different phyla), so his thesis fails due to rotten biology! Download free and make you own judgement (click on BOOKS).  Harun Yahya - Once Upon a Time There Was Darwinism. A beautifully produced fairy tale, so the title is apt, but Darwin survives this lengthy naïve onslaught. More bad biology you can download (click on BOOKS).          DVD: ORIGIN OF THE [sic] SPECIES - Lectures by pretend expert Dr Terry Mortenson of Answers in Genesis teaching the gullible, uninformed faithful (watch their faces as they 'understand') in great detail precisely what Darwinian Evolution is not about. Compare what we are told here with what real scientists understand by evolution biology and you will soon see that this is a load of tosh, typical of the way 'creation scientists' distort the science in order smugly to 'refute' it.

"For all of those who do see the overwhelming evidence of natural selection and life's descent from ancestors, and the immense span of time over which the story of life has unfolded, it is, to put it mildly, baffling how so many still do not. It is absolutely astonishing and often infuriating that some take it so far as to deny the immense foundation of evidence and to slander all the human achievement that foundation represents. With the facts on evolution's side, how can this doubt and denial persist, or even be growing, here at the outset of the twenty-first century?"                                           Sean B.
