INTRODUCTION
The
Royal Air Force (Reserve Forces) Small Arms Association comprises of
people who enjoy competitive target shooting of all standards of
ability, i.e. ranging from beginners to experts. Members include people
linked to the RAF either as current Royal Auxiliary personnel, RAF
Volunteer Reserve (Training) Branch, Adult
Sergeants/Flight Sergeants and
Warrant Officers of the ATC,
Civilian Instructors of the ATC, Cadet Warrant Officers, ATC
Instructor
Cadets aged
18 and over, and retired personnel of the RAF, including retired
persons who would have qualified as full Members if still serving.
The Association is affiliated to the NSRA
OUR
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our
Association is run by a committee of members (elected annually) whose
aims and objectives are to provide competitive target shooting for its
Members, including Air Pistol, .22 Rifle, both short and long range and
center fire rifles.
In addition, teams are selected to represent the RAF
Reserve Forces in inter-service shooting competitions.
