Sirhowy Valley Panoramic Images



The Western side of the valley

Centre the image below, with the vetical slider, and use horizontal slider to scan the west side of the valley.


Key:

1. Looking north, 'up the valley', the town of Tredegar can be seen in the distance
2. The village of "Bedwellty Pits" can be seen in the middle of the scan.
3. Looking south, 'down the valley', can be seen a dark area(near a clump of trees near the valley bottom), all that remains of the old Porchin Pit.
4. The village of Troedrhiwgwair is on the eastern side of the valley, but it can just be made out on the other side of the large wooded area on the right, looking north.
