Record for St.Davids, the village church. In St.James church there is a corner called St.Davids corner, after the church at Troedrhiwgwair. It has a plaque commemorating the four men from the village killed in the armed forces during World War 2. It commemorates:
Cliff Healey. (See No.24)
Alan Lewis. (See No.88)
George Thomas.(See No.19)
Cyril Maddy.(See No.52)
Originally the plaque was on a wall in the village library and institute. It was moved to the village church when the institute was demolished and eventuall to St.Jamse.
