The map names nineteen places in Buckinghamshire and a further thirteen outside the county boundary.

Roads shown are:
1. Stony Stratford to Dunstable in Bedfordshire via Fenny Stratford.
2. Buckingham to Uxbridge via Alesbury, Wendover and Amersham.
3. Uxbridge to the Oxfordshire boundary via Beconsfield and C. Wicombe.
4. Maidenhead to Colnbrook.

The rivers Thame, Thames, Ouse, and Coln are named on the map.

Second state

The imprint is unchanged.

About forty place names have been added to the map. Colnbrook has been erased and re-engraved outside the county boundary to accommodate the addition of Farnham Royal. The change is shown below (first state on the left).

A road from Colnbrook to Eaton has been added and the Maidenhead-Colnbrook road has been extended into Middlesex.

The Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire boundaries have been marked with dotted lines and a dotted line has been added beside the Thames to mark the boundary of Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The dotted Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire/Middlesex boundary lines have been strengthened.

Five more place names, U. Laundon, Luffield, Quaynton, Dunton and Datchet, have been added.
