First state

Imprint:
Publish'd by the Proprietors T. Badeslade & W H Toms Septr. 29th. 1741.

Scale: English Miles (10 = 33mm)

The map names about ten places in Herefordshire and five outside the county boundary.

Roads shown are:
1. Prestain in Radnorshire via Leominster and Bramyard to the boundary with Worcestershire where To Worcester is engraved.
2. Leominster to Ludlow in Shropshire.
3. A road branches from the Prestain-Worcester road between Prestain and Leominster and goes via Pembridge, Hereford and Ross to the boundary with Glocestershire.

The Tairie, Lug, Arrow, Doier, Eskel, Muncow, and Minnow rivers are named. Two different rivers are named the Wye, one of them incorrectly.

Second state

The imprint is unchanged.

About ninety place names have been added to the map.

Three roads have been added:
1. Hereford to the Worcester boundary at the east of the county.
2. A branch leaves the Hereford-Pembridge road just to the north of Hereford and goes via Newton to Leominster.
3. Gr. Birch to Monmouth.

One of the two Wye rivers has been renamed the Arro. The river previously called the Arrow has been renamed the Wadels.

The dotted line Shropshire/Worcestershire and Brecknockshire/Monmouthshire boundaries have been extended and Brecknockshire/Radnorshire, Radnorshire/Shropshire, Worcestershire/Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire/Monmouthshire boundaries have been added.

Third state

Imprint changed to:
