Chorographia Britanniae

This site contains a detailed examination of Chorographia Britanniæ, an atlas of the counties of England and Wales, first published in 1742
by William Henry Toms.

All the plates in the atlas were engraved by Toms from drawings made by Thomas Badeslade. According to the title page the drawings were made and compiled into a book by Order and for the Use of his late Majesty King George I.
