The map names fifteen places in Shropshire and six outside the county boundary.

One road is shown:
From Welchpool in Montgomeryshire via Shrewsbury, G. Wenlock and Bridge North to the boundary at the east side of the county where To Dudley is engraved beside the road.

The Tern, Warren, Tame, Corve and Severn rivers are named.

About fifty place names have been added to the map.

Roads added:
1. Shrewsbury to Oswestry via Royton.
2. Shrewsbury to Ellismere via Merriton, Martin, Cocksbutt and Kenwick.
3. Shrewsbury to Whitchurch via Wem.
4. Shrewsbury to Newport via Wellington.
5. Shrewsbury via Church Stretton, Ludlow and Barford to the boundary with Worcestershire.
6. Shrewsbury to the Montgomeryshire boundary near Chirbury and on to Montgomery.
7. Ludlow to Montgomery via Bishops Castle.
8. Bishops Castle to the boundary with Radnorshire via Clun Cast.
