The map names sixteen places in Warwickshire and five outside the county boundary.

Roads shown are:
1. From Litchfield in Staffordshire, across the county boundary to Coleshill and on to Coventry and Rugby.
2. Coventry to Atherston via Nuneaton.
3. From the boundary with Worcestershire to Stratford and on across the border with Oxfordshire to Banbury.

The Blith, Avon, Watergall and Arrow rivers are named.

Second state

The imprint is unchanged.

About sixty place names have been added to the map.

Roads added:
1. Meriden to Birmingham via Little Packington.
2. Coventry to the boundary with Leicestershire via Wolvey.
3. Coventry to Stratford via Warwick.
4. A branch from the Coventry-Rugby road near Binley via Wynald, Southam, Ladbrook and Fenny Ch. to the county boundary with Oxfordshire.

P. OF NORTHAMPTON S. has been engraved on the right hand side of the map and dotted lines have been added to mark the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire and Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire boundaries. The dotted line marking the Staffordshire/Worcestershire boundary has been extended.
