Clarks Secret was released to rave reviews at the end of '96. Recording took place over a two year period at a variety of locations worldwide, from Crescent Studios, Bath, England to Colorado Sound, Denver, and illustrates the band's development from its earliest track "Lost In Time" (which, incidentally, was Total Guitar Magazine's "Demo Of The Month") to the most recent, "Dark Water", featuring guest fiddler Chris Hague (Riverdance). A clue to the band's diverse nature comes in the album's wide range of freelance contributors, among them Clive Deamer (Portishead, Roni Size), David Lord (Peter Gabriel, Jean-Michel Jarre) and Tim O'Brien (Hot Rize, Red Knuckles). |
