Monthly Meeting Minutes 13th December 2000

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Ivy Leaf Memorial Club, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 13th December 2000.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

These were distributed and confirmed

Matters Arising

  1. Secretary and President still to meet to put together a history of the club
  2. Wine and Wisdom evening was an enjoyable success and raised £78.50 for the club funds.
  3. Receipt for last years trophies had been left at home by the secretary who would endeavor to get it to the treasurer before the next meeting.
  4. Treasurer still to obtain a new mandate form for the Club account as the original has been lost by the bank.

January Match

This was decided at the AGM which followed this meeting but is also recorded here for clarity. The match will be fished at Hythe on Saturday 20th January fishing from 17.00 - 23.00
The pick up point will be at the water pump opposite the Dover Castle pub on the A2 at Teynham at 15.30.

Kent Casting Club

Next casting session is on Sunday 7th January from 10.00 till 15.00. J Mann outlined events and informed the meeting Terry Carroll of Zzipplex would be attending.
