Correspondence

1. Newsletter dated 28.01.02, minutes dated 16.01.01, AGM minutes dated 4.01.02, revised rules and presentation evening details were sent to all members
2. The Hope Fishing club newsletter was received
These were shown and discussed.

Any Other Business

1. M Hammond produced details on camping in the South Coast area with the view to setting up a club short break in the area. Members would support such a trip and it was decided that enquiries about camping/caravans/hotels in the Chesil beach area should be made which M Hammond offered to do.
2. Members were reminded that club subscriptions have to be paid by the end of March.
3. An order for club sweatshirts would be organised at the next club meeting. Sweatshirts cost about £25 for adults depending upon size and numbers ordered.
4. Members discussed the venue for club meetings in the light of recent discussions with the Ivy Leaf club who were insisting on all club members being members of the Ivy Leaf Club. This would mean that club members would have to pay an extra £8 to joint he club in effect. It was decided that the club from now on would meet at The Billet public house in Sittingbourne who have offered an area free of charge for the clubs use.
5. J Mann advised of change of address.

There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting.
