Monthly Meeting Minutes 12th June 2002

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Billet Pub, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 12th June 2002.

Members Attending

N Sharrocks, J Padmore, M Hammond, K Hammond, R Butler, A Crayford, J Allen, C Clifton, R Clifton and J Mann.

Apologies

R Jolly, A Price, D Crayford, N Sissons and D Allen.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

The minutes should of shown shown that the Mayor not Mayoress would be invited to present next years trophies. Apart from this the minutes were accepted as a true record.

Matters Arising

1. Insurance debate continued on insurance - K Hammond to make enquiries about validity of a disclaimer form
2. It was decided to camp at Shearbarn Hastings on 13/14th September.
3. Secretary reported that sweatshirt samples had not been received yet. No details had been received from Direct Corporate clothing.
4.N Sharrocks still awaiting trophy catalogue to choose new trophies. Heaviest fish returned trophy still being investigated
5. Trip to trout farm was enjoyed by all those attending.
6. Bar b que - list of materials required from bar manager. Treasure hunt arrangements were in hand.
7. Mayor had graciously agreed to present the trophies at next years presentation evening on March 1st. A donation would be made to the Mayors charity.

July Match

This will be fished at Reculver fishing from 11.00 - 17.00 on Sunday 28th July. The pick up point will be at the AA Kiosk Lay-by on the Thanet Way at 10.00.

August Match

This will be fished on the Prince of Wales Pier Dover fishing from 20.00 - 01.00 on Saturday 17th August. Pick up will be at 18.30 at the Water pump, Teynham
