Meeting Minutes 11th December 2002
A meeting
of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Billet
Pub, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 11th December 2002.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record.
Matters Arising
1. Secretary waiting for sweatshirts order from Wellbeck Sports.
2. Boat trip with Hope Fishing Club Sunday on 7th December had to be cancelled
due to lack of interest from members. Further trips would be arranged
if there is interest. To book one of the places and for more details contact
Jason Mann on 01795 553948. Cost £15 per person supply your own
bait. Next trip may be between Christmas and New Year.
3. Members entering the Kent Classic on Sunday 24th November were not
that successful with only Nigel Sharrocks winning a drill in the raffle.
4. Secretary handed a copy of the Pairs points results compiled up to
August to the Chairman.
5. Presentation evening - most members present wanted a sit down meal
for the presentation. Members who had not indicated a preference to date
were asked to let the Chairman know before the AGM which will be held
at the Billet on Wednesday 15th January at 8pm.

This was decided to be fished at Medway City Estate On Sunday 26th January.
Secretary to look up tide times for appropriate times.

Match
Members voted that the venue for February will be either Dungeness or
Prince of Wales Pier at Dover during the day. All members were asked to
let the meeting know their choice.
Correspondence
1. Newsletter and minutes of last meeting and voting forms for Clubman
of the Year were sent to all members.
2. Receipt from Wellbeck Sports.
These
were discussed.
Any Other
Business
1. Members arranged a social evening on Friday 27th December at The Billet.
The rear room was booked for our exclusive use so members could bring
their partners and children along.
2. The Chairman reminded members to bring back the clubs permanent trophies
(polished and clean) as soon as possible
3. There followed a general discussion on items for discussion at the
AGM
