1. It was agreed that a committee would meet away from club meetings to formulate social events/appointed tasks for the club and report their deliberations to members for agreement at club meetings in an effort to save time at club meetings.
2. Subscriptions would remain as £12 adult, £4 senior statesmen/juniors, £20 family membership, £1 on attendance at each match (which could be paid in advance for the year if a member wanted). Treasurer was reminded that those members who attended the Kent Classic last year would receive a £5 discount from their subscription.
3. The club account would be changed to a 'cheque book account' with Kay Hammond, Ray Hills and Nigel Sharrocks being authorised signatories, with 2 signatures required on cheques.
4. Rule changes - it was voted to keep measurement as the method of deciding matches but it was agreed to run 4 matches as points matches. Members aired their views on the trial points system used last year and the committee was instructed to investigate the various points systems and to report their findings back to the club for a decision.
5. It was voted that no Angler of the Year points would be awarded for attending monthly meetings.
6. It was voted that an Angler of the Year point would be awarded to members attending social events.
7. Members agreed to hold monthly trips on the third weekend of every month.
8. Pairs competition results would be based upon points system as this year but would be publicised more often to bring it to member's attention. Pairs for the competition would be drawn at the January monthly meeting and cost £1 per person to enter.
9. The Knockout competition would be drawn at the January monthly meeting and would cost £1 per person to enter.
10. Presentation meal arrangements are to be addressed by the committee. The approximate cost will be £10 members, £15 non members and 14 years old and under would be free. Numbers are required by the January monthly meeting. The committee will decide upon the donation to the Mayors Charity appeal.
11. Members were asked to return permanent trophies to the January monthly meeting with a view to possibly replacing some.
12. The BBQ, treasure hunt and camping trip would be arranged later this year.
13. Members discussed the need for the scales and first aid kit to be on the beach at all trips.
