Monthly Meeting Minutes 29th January 2003

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Billet Pub, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 29th January 2003.

February Match

Members voted that the venue for February will be Prince of Wales Pier at Dover on 16th February Fishing from 08.30 - 14.30 pick up 07.30 at Aldi's car park

March Match

Members voted to choose either Walmer Castle or Folkestone Pier. All members were asked to let the next meeting know of their choice.

Correspondence

1. Newsletter and minutes of last meeting were sent to all members.
2. Letter received from N Sissons outlining his disappointment at the dropping of the point for attending meetings and outlining the fact he could not attend matches on Saturday nights or most social events to earn points.
3. Letter from N Sissons giving mandate to J Mann to vote at meetings on his behalf.

These were read and discussed.

Any Other Business

1. Jordan Padmore, Michael Padmore and Kerry Moran were welcomed as new members to the club. Their points for the January match would be allowed.
2. M Hammond to check out more prices for camping sites as Freshwater too expensive.
