Minutes of Meeting on 20.08.03 for Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Billet Pub, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 20th August 2003.

Members Attending
D Sandy, J Padmore, R Butler, J Mann, K Moran, K Hammond, M Hammond, R Hills, A Greatorex, A Price and D Allen. Laurence Folkes and David Folkes (Jnr) were introduced to the club.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record. But M Hammond reported that June minutes did not show his attendance at that meeting when he was present.

Matters Arising
1. Secretary still to chase S Seager for £30 for presentation meal.

2. No additional news about boat trip to be arranged by Nigel Sharrocks in November.

3. Treasure Hunt arrangements were well in hand. Posters and tickets were produced. Table signs were made. Agreed that £3 would be charged for Bar B Que only.

4. Boot fair run by K Moran, J Mann, M Hammond and K Hammond raised £97 for club funds. Additional point to be awarded to those attending.

6. The Pairs redraw resulted in M Hammond being paired with A Price and K Moran pairing with K Hammond.

8. J Mann has arranged for Neil Mackellow to present the awards at the Club presentation on 28th February 2004.

Fished at Lloyds Building Chatham on Sunday 17th August Fishing from 13.00 - 18.00.

Members decided to fish at Deal Pier on Saturday 20^th September fishing from 16.00 – 22.00. Pick up at 14.30 in Aldi’s car park.
