Monthly Meeting Minutes 22nd October 2003 A
meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the
Billet Pub, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 22nd October 2003. Members

N Sharrocks, M Hammond, K Hammond, K Moran, J Mann, D Allen, A Greatorex,

were accepted as a true record. Matters
Arising 1. £30 meal money from S Seager was handed to Treasurer. 2. Boat trip is being arranged for early December by N Sharrocks which will be dependent upon skipper phoning to advise the best time. 3. Treasure Hunt raised £107.05 for club funds. More support is required from members for these events run for their/the clubs benefit. 4. Match against Woodcombe has been cancelled due to the difficulties Woodcombe have in raising a team. 5. Insurance had been renewed by Treasurer. 6. Members were reminded about entry to Sheerness Steel Open competition on Sunday November 9th. It was thought that all places were now taken. Those entering should meet at the Irwins Loop roundabout on the A249 just on the Island at 7 am. October Match 18.10.03

beat Reg Butler on the toss of a coin to face Jason Mann in the semi finals. Correspondence 1.
Newsletter and minutes of last meeting were sent to all members. These
were shown and discussed. 1. Presentation meal was discussed with Billet who could offer a menu for £10 per head. J Padmore to contact Coniston about prices. 2. It was reported that Ashford Tackle would support the presentation evening by giving a raffle prize so members are encouraged to visit and support this well stocked tackle shop. 3. Jack Hanson (jnr) was proposed and welcomed as a new member to the club. There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting. |
