AGM
Meeting Minutes 7th January 2004
The AGM of
Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at the Beauty of
bath, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 7th January 2004.
Members

M Hammond, K Hammond, D Allen, J Allen, A Crayford, T Price, D Sandy,
T Nicholson, K Morran and Reg Butler.
Mr Brian
Clarke was welcomed as new members to the club.

These had been read and confirmed previously
Matters
Arising
There were no matters arising
Presidents
Report
Ray Hills gave a brief report, hoped for more fish and thanked members
for their continuing support.
Chairman's
Report
Nigel Sharrocks gave a brief report thanking members for attending tonight
and attending matches, thanks were given to K Hammond for work with finances
and to M Hammond for organising the social events.
Secretary's
Report
John Padmore gave a brief report thanking everyone for their efforts throughout
the year and reminded members about the various events arranged throughout
the year including The presentation Evening attended by the Mayor, Treasure
Hunt, Boot Fair and Boat Trip. M Hammond thanked for social events, Hammond
thanked for being Treasurer and J Mann congratulated for being chosen
for the England Casting Team. Social events need to be supported by more
members of the club to boost club funds/subsidize events/trophies etc
Treasurers
Report
The Treasurer circulated the report showing what the club had under its
control. The accounts were proposed and accepted as a true record. K Hammond
was thanked for her hard work.

Business
1. Subscriptions would remain as £12 adult, £4 senior statesmen/juniors,
£20 family membership, £1 on attendance at each match (which
could be paid in advance for the year if a member wanted).
2. Anglers wanting to register a claim for the biggest fish trophies must
register the fish's weight on their score card.
3. Members decided all matches will be decided on a point's basis. Committee
to meet on at 7pm Sunday 11.01.04 at the Beauty of Bath to revise points
list.
4. Members decided that only one rod and one trace with a maximum of three
hooks can be used at any time.
5. M Hammond to inform press about Presentation evening.
6. BBQ/Treasure Hunt to be held at the end of July/beginning of February.
7. Jason Mann offered to contact skipper Jim about boat trip out of the
Medway and to bring in boat shield trophy
There being
no further business the chairman closed the meeting
