Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record except that K Morran caught 1 dab and 2 flounders and not as shown in minutes.

Matters Arising
1. Subscriptions and competition fees were collected.
2. M Hammond organised the bus stop draw for the £5 Ashford Tackle voucher.

April Match
This will be fished at Shakespere beach, Dover on Saturday 15th May fishing from 17.00 - 23.00. Pick up will be at 15.30 at The Centre 2000 car park near Ashford Tackle in Sittingbourne.

These were discussed.

Any Other Business
1. Items for boot fair are being collected together by Mark Hammond which was arranged for Sunday13th June.
2. Members discussed introducing a rolling competition for catching the first fish over 1 kg in weight. The cost would be £1 a month to enter but you must pay every month or you will have to drop out of the current competition and join in again when it restarts. The accumulated fund will go to the person still entered in who catches the first fish weighing over 1 kg. The competition would then restart. If at the end of the year no such fish are caught then the fund could go to club funds. Your ideas for this competition are required for the next meeting where the rules will be formulated with a view to starting the competition at June outing.
4. M Hammond is offering rechargeable electric lamps at a discounted rate of £20 each to club members.
