Monthly Meeting Minutes 21st July 2004

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at The Beauty of Bath on Wednesday 21st July 2004.

Members Attending
M Hammond, K Hammond, K Morran, J Mann, S Heathfeild, R Hills, A Greatorex, A Price, A Crayford and N Sharrocks.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true RECORD

Matters Arising
1. Boot fair would be held in August/September and members were asked to collect suitable items and a date to be decided at August meeting.
2. The rolling competition - the following people have until next meeting to pay B Clark, J Padmore, M Padmore and T Nicholson.

July Match
Abbotts Laboratories at Queenborough on Sunday 18th July fishing from 12.30 - 16.30

Notable fish caught:
Flounder 160g J Mann - Key to Species Caught fl=flounder

C Johnson Singles Knockout Competition

Quarter finals heats:
J Mann bt K Hammond, remainder to be decided R Hills v B Clark, Bye v A Crayford, S Heathfield v B Greatorex
These heats to be fished at the August match.

August Match
This will be fished at Hythe on Saturday 21st August fishing from 18.00 - 00.00. Pick up will be at 16.30 at Centre 2000 opposite Ashford Tackle in Sittingbourne.

Correspondence
1. Newsletter and minutes of last meeting were sent to all members.
2. M Hammond had emailed last results to East Kent Gazette which should appear 28.07.04
3. NFSA newsletter.
These were read and discussed.

Any Other Business
1. Ashford Tackle raffle was not held this month.
There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting.
