Monthly Meeting Minutes 25th August 2004

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at The Beauty of Bath on Wednesday 25th August 2004.

Members Attending
M Hammond, K Hammond, K Morran, J Mann, S Heathfeild, R Hills, A Crayford, J Padmore, D Sandy, B Clarke and N Sharrocks. Simon Osborn was introduced and welcomed as a new member to the club.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting should of shown that the August match was to be fished at Walmer and not Hythe as shown. Apart from this they were accepted as a true record.

Matters Arising
1. Boot fair would be held September 26th.
2. The rolling competition - T Nicholson's payments are outstanding.

August Match
Walmer fished on Saturday 21st August from 18.00 - 00.00

C Johnson Singles Knockout Competition
Quarter finals heats:
J Mann bt K Hammond, B Clark bt R Hills , Bye v A Crayford, S Heathfield bt B Greatorex. Draw for semi finals J Mann vs B Clarke, A Crayford vs S Heathfeild.
These semi final heats to be fished to a conclusion.

September Match
This will be fished at Gravesend on Sunday 19th fishing from 13.30 - 17.30. Pick up will be at 12.30 at McDonalds car park at the northern end of the Medway Tunnel.

Correspondence
1. Newsletter and minutes of last meeting were sent to all members.
2. M Hammond had emailed last results to East Kent Gazette.
3. Kent Classic Open entry forms had been received.
Members were encouraged to enter the Kent Classic as soon as possible as the event was now pegged to 350 anglers.

Any Other Business
1. Ashford Tackle raffle was not held this month.
There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting.
