Monthly Meeting Minutes 22nd June 2005

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at The Beauty of Bath on Wednesday 22nd June 2005.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record.

Matters Arising
1. A successful casting practise was held on Sunday 5th June. Members requested another event to be run on August 7th.
2. The venues found by K Moran for the presentation would be discussed at the next meeting.
3. Secretary reported that N Sharrocks has stood as Chairman. The next club meeting would also be an Extraordinary General Meeting to appoint a new Chairman. Members were asked to consider who they would like to be elected Chairman for that meeting.

To be fished at Walmer - 16th July 17.00 - 23.00. Pickup 15.30 - Centre 2000 near Ashford Tackle, Sittingbourne

Correspondence
1. Newsletter and minutes sent to all members.
2. Email from Drive2fish fishing club to fish a match on Sunday 18th September at Deal Pier fishing. Members agreed to fish match and asked Secretary to sort out times/match details etc.

Any Other Business
1. Boot fair storage garage requires sorting out. It was agreed members would get together on Monday 27th June meeting at 7 pm at Centre 2000 to have a sort out. Boot fair would be held on 14th August.
2. A clay pigeon shoot was being planned for Sunday 10th July - contact Mark Hammond for more details.
