Monthly Meeting Minutes 24th August 2005

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Sea Angling Club was held at The Beauty of Bath on Wednesday 24th August 2005.

Election of Chairman
In a close run election Simon Heathfield was elected as Chairman getting 6 votes compared to Jason Mann's 4 votes.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting should have shown that A Crayford caught a 500g Bass as a notable fish and Aaron Mann attended the match. Apart from this the minutes were accepted as a true record.

Matters Arising
1. The casting practise was rearranged for September 4th.
2. The venues for the presentation would be discussed at the next meeting.
3. The match against the Drive2fish fishing club on Sunday 18th September at Deal Pier fishing has been booked. Secretary to sort out arrangements.
4. Boot fair stall could not be run on 14th August. Rearranged for September 11th if boot fair is run that weekend.
5. Bar b Que and Treasure Hunt was deferred until 2006.

Any Other Business
1. New members Alan Fosbeary, Ryan Fosbeary (Jnr) and David Cook were voted in as new members.
2. Simon Heathfield reported that a key to the Dungeness gate is available by joining Dungeness SAA and said he would make enquiries.
3. Presentation at bowling club - ray Hills reported that opening hours could be extended. He was asked to make enquiries to see if Saturday 11th February was available 6.30 for 7.00 pm start. Ties to be arranged for new members.

There being no further business the newly elected chairman closed the meeting.
