AGM Minutes 18th January 1977

The Annual General Meeting of the Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Angling Club was held on Tuesday 18th January 1977 at the Works Club.

Mr R Hills was elected into the Chair for this meeting.

The minutes of the 1976 AGM were read and confirmed.

The Secretary reported that the monthly matches in 1976 had been well supported and fish had been caught in every match. Our social events had been successful both socially and financially. Above all we had a happy year. The boat trips were much enjoyed.

The Secretary presented the financial report which was approved by the meeting.

The election of officers produced results as follows:-

After some discussion it was decided on a proposition by P Cunningham seconded by D Gates to affiliate to the NFSA 6members voting for 3 against.

A new member Mr Kyle Tullett was admitted to the club.
It was decided that a separate award for Junoirs be presented. This was proposed by Mr P Cunningham and seconded by Mr Pitts
This Junior award to go to the Junior member catching the most fish in the year. Proposed D Bowman seconded J Pitts

It was decided that a vote of thanks be recorded in the minutesfor the retiring Officers and Committee.

There being no other business the Chairman closed the meeting.
