AGM Minutes 20th January 1981

The AGM of the Blue Circle (Sitt) A.C was held at the works club on Tuesday 20th January 1981.

Members present were as follows:- J Pitts, G Baker, R Baker, R Ward, D Williams, S Scudder, D Bowman, R Bunting, P Mathews, R Hills and P Davison.

Mr R Hills was elected as Chairman.
The Minutes of the previous AGM were read and confirmed.
Mr P Davison as retiring secretary reported that due to the short period as secreatry he had only the minutes of the previous year to assess the club which did not show a lot of support and very few fish were caught.

Mr P Davison submitted the financial report which was studied by the members present and unanimously agreed.

The election of Officers for the forthcoming year are as follows:-

Proposed P Williams seconded S Scudder that venues should be voted on monthly, after some discussion it was unanimously agreed.

The venue for February shall be Hythe on Feb 8th pick up at Teynham at 07.00 am. Alternative date Feb 1st pick up time as already mentioned.

After some lengthy discussion it was decided to fish alternative dates within the month i.e. between the 1st of the month and the last day of the month and not as noted at the last AGM.

There being no other business for this meeting the Chairman Closed the meeting.
