Minutes February 19th 1985

A meeting of Blue Circle (Sittingbourne) Angling Club was held at Mr J Carr home on Tuesday 19th February. Members present were as follows: - J Carr, B Francis, D Tree Snr, R Bunting, M Bunting, R Hills, P Davison, D Harris, J Harris and B Waller

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

The February match was fished at Folkestone and not at Sandwich Bay on Saturday February 16th. 13 members attended, two fish were caught the match being won by C Meader. Members who fished the match were D Harris, R Bunting, M Bunting, B Waller, D Tree Snr, D Tree Jnr, J Carr, R Hills, P Davison, K Meader, C Meader J Padmore and B Francis.
The February venue was changed from Sandwich Bay to Folkestone due to the adverse weather conditions.

The March venue shall be Sandhills to be fished on Sunday 24th March, fishing from 09.00-16.00 pickup 08.00.

Correspondence was read and passed around.

Any other business
The secretary offered the finance report on the dinner dance and presentation to the members present. They were accepted as a true copy. Members present asked the Beacon Court be booked for next year 1986 on February 8th, secretary to book.
The members voted not to join the NFSA for the coming year due mainly to the increased membership fees.
The secretary informed members that the July match at Dover shall be a friendly with Faversham.
There was a discussion on the heaviest fish cup. It was decided to continue to use the cup for the Heaviest fish.

There being no other business the chairman closed the meeting.
