Here we go then the first match this year.....if you didn't get to many matches last year make the effort to get to this one ....it will be special....your first chance to make your name go down in the Blue Circle Book of Fame this year....details are in the enclosed meeting minutes and AGM minutes.

Short sharp newsletter this month as its 1 am now and Ive done enough of this typing.

There is a big comp going on at Hythe starting just after we get there so we have to be aware of this..it may not be where we are fishing but...

The next match against Hope Fishing club has beenprovisionally arranged for Sunday 28th January at Crundles Wharf....more details at the meeting or from Nigel Sissons

Dave Allen is going to bring along his cooker on Saturday with a little bit of nosh.....he is also going to show us some of his traces....have a look see what you can learn....ask him a few questions and he'll give you a few little pointers to help you catch a few more fish....he might even cook it for you.

Lug worm will be a good bait to use at the match, a few sprats may take fish and a little bit of Ragworm (white preferrably) will attract the flounders. If the wind blows up a storm before we fish shell fish (mussells or razor fish) will be the bait to use. Expect to see plenty of those little whiting about and those dabs love shinny shinny beads.

Bring back or get to me the permanent trophies for the next meeting....we need to look at them and repair/replace some of them.
