Here it is at last.......appologies for the late arrival of this but there's a lot of trouble with the postman at the moment....he won't type these quick enough!!

Short sharp newsletter this month......I'm typing this slowly as I know some of you can't read very fast!

I'm on holiday when the next match is on so if you need help/advice you'll have to liaise with Nigel or Jason who as Chairman and Match Steward will sort you out.

Remember the bar b que is coming up very soon and I want to see you all there even if you dont make the matches or meetings that often. The Ivy Leaf has got a good secure grassed garden at the back so bring all those kids with you, bring a raffle prize, the cheap bar is open all afternoon serving those icy lagers while you munch on a burger etc........I might even buy you a drink......there is a rumour going around that someone has donated a prize of free drinks all afternoon for one person....and the winning number is......you'll have to come along to find out!

The Prince of Wales Pier at night is a terrific venue pouting, pollack, bass, plaice, sole. Remember to take your light with you, a drop net is handy for that big one and to keep your beers cold in the water, lug is the most popular bait but rag and peeler crab catch well. Use a long shock leader to reach into the water from the top of the pier, get plenty of sleep during the day if you can to make sure you stay alert during the small hours. If you are tired you will make mistakes. Be extra careful if you are not used to late nights and don't drive if you are too tired. You'll be catching alot of fish in that fresh sea air which will make you tired so you have been warned. Keep your eyes open for those asylum seekers sailboarding in.
