A 15 minute walk from the car park warmed everyone up before fishing on this cold and crispy night. When on the pier it was discovered that cars could be brought onto the pier at night in winter....you learn something every day with this hobby.....although it can be anoying moving rod when cars travel up and down the pier regularly. The best fishing spots where on front of the pier just along from "cod corner". Fish were mainly caught about 30m out from the pier with the odd one or two caught at range and some caught down the side of the wall. A friendly seal put in appearance but as soon as it saw the clubs yellow sweatshirts it went elsewhere as it knew there would be few fish there!!!
