A new venue for the club this year and obviously the wrong time of year according to the catches made and the conversations with the locals. Apparently between Denton Pier and the Sea School Pier is very good for Sole during August, past the Sea School pier in deeper water is the better area to fish for codling and whiting (where all the locals were fishing) during November and December and the best spot is at Shorne Lighthouse during November and December for codling to 8lb when fished over the mud at low water.....oh well you live and learn!!
