A typical routine would be:
Early morning fishing or ski-ing, then picnic on the beach and more ski-ing, fishing and swimming.
If a child managed to swim across the cove they would be rewarded with a silver lobster pick by Betty Fripp.
At 12.00 it was Cinzano - with ice, followed by a snooze for the oldies - Not to be disturbed by the children for at least an hour.
3.00 - Tennis at the Lynches - in whites. 6.30 - Drinks at one of the houses.

There were also early evening fishing trips followed by huge mackeral barbecues at the top of Mill House garden - outside the squash courts, where everyone was involved in three legged races and wheelbarrow races. If sufficient had been imbibed, there was also nude bathing at the Cove or on St. Oswalds.
