Beck Youth Theatre is an independent youth theatre company, and is funded by entirely by fees, donations and ticket sales. First formed in 1987 by the theatre management, it became an independent charity in 1992, and has gone from strength to strength since. The company is based in West London, and its headquarters address is c/o The Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, Middlesex Ub3 2UE, England.

The Beck Theatre Ltd, to whom the Youth Theatre is greatly indebted for their encouragement, their tolerance and their free rehearsal-space, is part of Apollo Leisure Group PLC.

We are a highly motivated company dedicated to promoting the performing arts to young people locally through a mixture of workshops, improvisations and shows. We demand, and get, the highest standards of our young actors / actresses, and the quality of their work is already being recognised. A number of our 'old boys / girls' are beginning to make name in this demanding industry, and we are proud to be a part of their success. We have taken a show to the Edinburgh fringe, and were finalists in the 'Barclays Awards' youth competition in 1992. A number of our younger members were recently chosen to provide voices for a series of stories for 'HI KIDS', a telephone story line that was launched as a pilot service in December 1997 and is now a national service.

CYT (Calverton Youth Theatre) is just setting out, and kinda like where we were 10 years ago. Give them your encouragement - we know how much they'd appreciate it!
