Tim has worked as production Musical Director on over
50 different musicals across the UK and Ireland, and has been resident Musical
Director at the Beck Youth Theatre for the last six years. As a composer, he
has written two musicals, incidental music for plays and has arranged several
pop songs for close harmony.
Tim also wrote the music for Wytchwood, and arranges
all our music for cabaret and showcase work.

Iain Hodge - Musical
Director and group tutor
Iain has been associated with the BYT for many years,
both as rehearsal pianist and as a member of the band. He took his conductor’s hot seat for the
first time last with Cabaret and also was the musical director of Fiddler on
the Roof. In addition to working with
the Youth Theatre Iain can be found both playing for and conducting many shows
in and around London. Outside working
in the theatre, Iain runs his own CD mastering studio and is the Studio Manager
for the London College of Music and Media looking after the music technology
and recording facilities at their site at Thames Valley University in Ealing.
