Elizabeth Creed was born around 1792, in Lynn, Norfolk.1
She married [D2] William Tunbridge on the 9th February 1821, in Frindsbury, Kent, where she then lived. The couple made their home in Chatham, where they had at least three children: [D1] Angela Elizabeth (1821), Amelia (1823), and D'Arcey (1822-6).2
In 1841 she lived at the Brook, in Chatham. In October 1847, when she informed the registrar of her granddaughter’s birth, she was resident in Whittakers Street, Chatham. In 1851 she lived in Adelaide Street, Chatham.3
She died on the 28th March 1859, in Henry Street, Chatham, from a year-long disease of the kidney, and sudden death after one hour, by syncope.4
