Youth and Community Service
The Berkshire Association of Young People is an Association created out of the merger of the Berkshire Association of Boys' Clubs and Youth Clubs Berkshire. It is the largest non-uniformed voluntary Youth Association in Berkshire, having well over 100 affiliated groups and being in touch with hundreds more.
BAYP is dedicated to the provision of services for its members in all settings and works in close partnership with the Statutiry Youth and Community Service, helping to build the youth of today into responsible young men and women of tomorrow.
The Association provides a full Activity Programme and most events are open to all registered youth groups in the County. Winners in County competitions have the opportunity to go forward to Regional and National Championships organised by both NABC - Clubs for Young People and Youth Clubs UK.
A Training Programme is available to affiliated groups both at County level and by attending courses run by NABC - Clubs for Young People, Youth Clubs UK and the Youth and Community Service.
An Arts Team is provided to help clubs with art work and a MINIBUS is available for hire.
