Ex-International, Derek Spence (Blackpool's new Community Officer) gives you an insight into some of the activities that Football in the Community can offer.

There are ninety national projects based at Football clubs throughout the UK. The success of the Community Scheme now provides almost one million people annually with professional coaching in all sport.

We at Blackpool Football Club are delighted to be part of this scheme, and my aim as Community Officer is to provide closer links with the community regardless of age, sex, race, or background.
