Mission.
The
primary object of the Blue Badge Network is to assist all disabled
people, and their families, of all ages. To help them integrate
more effectively with society through the European Union, by
co-operation, to overcome access and mobility problems. The
Network also seeks to maintain the integrity and validity of
the concessionary
parking permit by the prevention of fraud and misuse
of this valuable asset.
This
site is an information database for the Network. Here you will

Message from our President
I
was deeply honoured when the Network invited me to become its
Honorary President. Not only is the Network vital to the continued
viability of the Blue Badge Scheme, but the Network is the only
national organisation with is head office based in my constituency.
So I am doubly indebted! The Blue Badge Scheme is undergoing
some serious stresses. That is why the Network and its calm
and measured approach to the problems facing the current Scheme,
are so important. Without the Scheme many disabled and blind
people would not have the ability to park close to the facilities
and services they need. Without sensible reform, however, the
Network is quite properly concerned that the reaction of the
able-bodied to the Scheme may lead to significant curbs on its
operation.
I look forward to working with the Patron, the Marquis de Derval
et de Moisdon, its Chairman, Mrs Mary Grace, officers and council
members and, of course, its members. The Network can make a
very real contribution to the legitimacy and strengthening of
the Blue Badge Scheme.
