Lost & Found

We have been contacted on several occasions regarding Bengals which have been lost or found.    If you have lost or found a Bengal please let us know (preferably with a picture) and we will post the details here. It would be useful to know the approximate date the cat was lost/found and where.

Bengals are intelligent and inquisitive cats and often find their way into cars & vans etc. so can travel great distances so if you do hear of/find a Bengal - even though it may be many miles from the area these Bengals have been lost in - it is worth checking with the owners of the lost Bengals

Lost (received 30th june 2008)

LOST believed STOLEN in Rainworth, Near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire which is on the A617 between Mansfield and Newark A 2 year old Snow Spotted Boy Bengal with striking blue eyes.  He is micro-chipped, but does not wear a collar as he keeps losing them. He is extremely good looking, vocal and loving – he purrs very loudly and is very good at begging for tidbits. He was last seen on Thursday 26th June at home after breakfast.  We lost our female brown marble Bengal on 6th June, but luckily she was found 25 miles away in Newark, hence our belief that he has been taken rather than strayed.  We believe that our boy might also have gone in the Newark direction based on this previous experience (2 cats disappearing in 3 weeks is too much of a coincidence as they have never strayed before). We miss him very much he has so much character and it has left a big hole in our family My contact details are: 07889125274 – any information would be appreciated.

Lost  Hoton Near Loughborough (Received June 2008)

He is a brown spotted Bengal with aqua-green eyes. He also has a white 'bib' under his white chin.

He does not wear a collar (for safety reasons ) but he is vaccinated and micro-chipped.

He is desperately missed by the whole family but especially my teenage son who is lost without him.He was last seen in our garden on Sunday the 9th June at 9 p.m.

We live in a small rural village on the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border, called Hoton, not far from the A60 We are 3 miles from Loughborough and 10 miles from Nottingham.

Found

I have been notified by my Vets  The Brook Veterinary Surgery Steventon Oxfordshire  01235 831 800 that they are holding a young Spotted Entire Male - friendly but thin. He was found in the Sutton Courtney area of Oxfordshire and caught after about two weeks of wandering around.  Perhaps this info may be of help

I have recently been asked to care for a found Bengal. He was found on Surrey/Sussex borders near Cranleigh and is a very vocal friendly chap - though not at all keen on other felines. He is a little thin and may not be from the immediate area as there are no adverts locally and vets have drawn a blank.

He is wearing a collar and is also microchipped.  We have completed an extensive search of the area he went missing in and have completed a leaflet drop in our local area, but we still have had no news. I wonder if you would be able to help me track down Doris, my missing Bengal cat?

She is 5 years old, spayed and microchipped, brown spotted, and quite large for a female.  She is very vocal, and we are missing her terribly.

Doris went missing on the morning of Sunday 22 April from Cawthorne, a small village near Barnsley.  We have conducted very thorough searches and leafleting campaigns locally, with no luck so far, and so are considering the possibility that she might have travelled further - possibly after getting into a car or van.  I'd be grateful if you could put her details onto your website, and let me know if you hear of any cat fitting Doris's description?

LOST: Khan - beautiful brown-spotted Bengal went missing from the Burton-on-Trent area on 2nd April. Raker is a brown spotted boy and although large and muscular very gentle and loves people.  If he comes across another male entire he will be heard for miles around.  But he will probably be found playing with a female cat, if they will put up with his energy levels.  Anyone can pick Raker up to bring him home.  His chip number is:  95200000085981.  If he is found please contact Darren Simister on 07935618914 or address: 78 Eyerescroft, Bretton, Peterborough , PE3 8ET
