Meditation and
Sharing Guidelines
- When we meditate, let us be as receptive to impression
from the higher planes as we possibly can, cultivating an attitude
of intensive inner listening for words or other impressions.
- When we share in the group we are not just sharing
as individuals, but as an intergroup group with the intention
of deepening group understanding of essential issues that can
facilitate the Externalisation and the Reappearance of the Christ.
- The Synthesis that IS occurs in the meditations
- our work is always to look for this higher level of synthesis,
and express it in our sharing of ideas. We ask each person to
limit their sharing to 3 minutes at a time.
- While synthesis IS, unity must be built, and our
task is to hear the thread of unity in what each person says.
This happens most powerfully when we share ideas that build on
previous statements, and fully develop and explore one theme before
moving on to the next.
- Share from your meditative impressions, or your
own distinct distillation of ideas, as opposed to reiterating
or reciting long passages from the Tibetan. The Tibetan says clearly
we only really understand the teaching when we can put it in our
own words.
- Let us all make an effort to remain conscious
of these guidelines and remind the group when we are not observing
them.
