When the restaurant (Gatriles) that inspired me to replicate their dish closed down, they gave out "their" recipe for Duck and Cherry pie - but it seems that they chose to use MY recipe to distribute to everyone, and passed it on as their own. I was so chuffed!
I was based in London for 2 years - I was there on a 2 year working holiday visa. I returned in March 2001, and have been based in Cape Town for a over a year and a half now. I certainly miss a lot of the things London had to offer, although not the weather! Given a choice, I would gladly live there for a few years - it is just so vibrant! Who knows, perhaps that opportunity might come one day...

Urban Legends - I'm sick and tired of people forwarding me e-mails en masse about things that are scaring them. These people just hit their forward button and send a group e-mail without even verifying the authenticity of a story.
