The Quire has a broad ranging repertoire. Below are some sample programmes:
MIDSOMER MUSICK
Folk songs, madrigals, spirituals. Original music and arrangements by Christopher Larley, Patrick Larley, Neil Sands.
YE PRETTY WANTONS WARBLE
Similar to the above, but including Holst - Partsongs, Stanford - Elizabethan Songs, Vaughan Williams - Three Shakespeare Songs, and light hearted 'party' numbers.
MID PLEASURES AND PALACES
One half of sacred, followed by a secular second half. Motets such as Grieg - Ave Maris Stella, Allegri - Miserere, commissions by Patrick Larley, Christopher Larley, Stewart Harper and Neil Sands. Second half music includes jazz arrangements, barbershop pieces, and traditional English songs.
MAGNIFICAT
Music for any Marian feast, including Stravinsky - Ave Maria, Vittoria - Ave Maria, Gorecki - Totus Tuus, Buxtehude - Magnificat, Cui - Magnificat, Christopher Larley - The Annunciation Carol.
THE ITALIAN JOB
Music for choir and organ from Italy, including Vivaldi - Gloria, Pergolesi - Magnificat, Monteverdi - Cantate Domino, Viadana - Exultate Justi, and organ music.
