P8 Transverse Breaking Load
The pavers strength is important with respect to its
application.
The test procedure is described in BS6677: Part 1: 1986 along with typical uses. The paver is supported on two cylinders and the load is applied with a third from above, placing the paver under tension. It simulates the possibility of uneven loading applied by traffic during the pavers useful life. |
