P5 Wet Skid ResistanceAs a result of polishing by road and pedestrian traffic the skid resistance of clay and calcium silicate pavers will decrease over time. The limit for road use is set at a skid resistance value of 60 as determined by using a friction tester. Some products contain coarse grains of hard rock additives, which through differential wearing of the surface maintains the products skid resistance. |
