Course Director and Leader:

Christine Jones, Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, awarded for innovative practice (1997). Honorary Fellow of the Association of Reflexology (1997), Doctorate (Medical Alternative) International Open University (1994). Further trained in Naturopathy, Reflexology, Metamorphic Technique, Counselling and other Complementary Therapies. Developed Reflextherapy and founded the Midland School of Reflextherapy and Associated Studies (1976) as an holistic approach to patient care. Private practitioner, presents in lectures and workshops at medical meetings internationally. Author of chapters and professional publications and is presently commisioned to write on the MSR approach. Founder Chairman, and now Honorary President, of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (and Health Care Professionals) in Reflex Therapy (ACPIRT).

Course Team:

Eileen Auld, MCSP SRP, Chartered Physiotherapist (1973), MSR (1996). Holds diplomas in many complementary therapies and is a yoga practitioner. Anatomy and Physiology tutor on Scottish Yoga Teachers Association course. Specific interest in the Ayurvedic approach to health.

Hermione Evans, BA(Hons) Chartered Physiotherapist (1969) worked both home and abroad covering many clinical aspects. Trained with the MSR in 1989, helped in the foundation of ACPIRT and the education subcommittee. Trained in Cranio-sacral therapy. Interested in Chinese philosophy and yoga, believing in an integrated approach to the person.

Julia Lamb, BA(Hons) Chartered Physiotherapist (1966), Teaching Diploma (1972), Fellow CSP(1976). CSP Council member 1988-97,involved in revised undergraduate curriculum 1996. Vice President CSP 97-99. Tutor for Masters programme and examines overseas qualified physiotherapists for state registration. Qualified MSR(1995), assisted in preparation of MSR accreditation document for the CSP and Coventry University and continues as MSR educational adviser.

Jo Smith-Oliver, Chartered Physiotherapist. Qualified 1978. Fellow of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine. Trained in Reflex Zone Therapy (1989). Qualified with the MSR (1995). Metamorphic practitioner. Reflextherapy chapter and articles published in professional publications. She runs a clinic in East London and is committed to the integration of physical and complementary healthcare.

Israel Course Team:

Liora Amitai, Physiotherapist, Israel, qualified 1977, trained in Reflex Zone Therapy 1980, qualified with MSR 1995. Worked in Israel and USA and now in private practice in Jerusalem with particular interest in paediatrics. Combines RT with Cranio-sacral therapy, Guided Imagery, Bach flower remedies and other holistic approaches.

Anat Kaplun, Physiotherapist. Qualified in Israel in 1987. Trained in orthopaedic mobilisations (Maitland and Mulligan), teaches undergraduate physiotherapy and is a university examiner. Trained in Reflex Zone Therapy (1994) and Guided Imagery and qualified with the MSR and metamorphic technique in 1996. Clinically combining conventional with an holistic approach in private practice.
