'Western Approaches'

My uncle Alexander Gordon Murdoch in the film 'Western Approaches'.
This film was shot in Anglesey in 1944 and told of the vital role of
the merchant navy during the second World War.
The film was made by the Crown Film Unit and colour cameras
were brought in from the USA to Holyhead.
