1) When you think of the seaside what does it mean to you?
Being adjacent to the ocean.
2) Please describe a picture in your minds eye of the seaside. This may be at a resort or the coast itself. Rolling waves, sandy beach, cliffs and wind. (Coming off the sea that is).
3) a. At the seaside do you prefer sandy beaches, mud flats, saltings, shingle beaches or cliffs? Sandy beach.
b. Why do you prefer that? It's easier to walk along, however I prefer it to be devoid of other people.
4) Have you ever sailed on the sea in a boat? If so would you briefly describe where, what, when, why and with whom you did that? Only on a cross-channel ferry.
5) When was the last time you visited the seaside? Just to visit the seaside, about 4 years ago, whilst travelling somewhere else - 6 months ago.
6) Do you intend to go to the seaside in the future? Yes!
7) a. Where is the seaside, for you, please name a town or area? North Norfolk coast.
b. What makes you say that? It's the closest seaside.
8) Would you like to say anything else about the seaside? No.
9) I would just like to ask you a few questions which will give the words some context: a. Your preferred age? 24.
b. Your preferred sex? Female.
c. Your preferred shoe size? 7 or 41.
d. Your preferred eye colour? Green.
e. Your preferred latitude and longitude? In 43 years I haven't yet found one I could say I prefer over any other.
