What You Thought

Well, not you exactly. Unless you've signed it o'course, then it will be what you thought. I can sense this is going nowhere fast...

Anyway, this is what somebody else (probably) thought:

Hello old friend from uni days of long ago! Nice site Al. As nobody has signed your guest book for months I thought I'd make your day! I know I haven't seen you for years but I have just e-mailed you. Don't die of shock, but I have just got on the internet. Such mysterious witchcraft is still a bit beyond my understanding yet though. Cheers, Rich

And for those not in the know, Al is now a proud father! Drop him and email to say congrats! :)

Years, oh so many passing by. Glad to see that some things (literally) don't change! :)

Louise at 00:56:29 Saturday October 19 2002
Hey Alex, Not sure if this is you and if it is whether or not you remember me, but what the hell! This is Louise... I stayed at castle rock for a while last year before (stupidly) moving into dodgy Dave's flats!! If this is the Alex I think it is it'd be nice to stay in touch... if not, sorry just forget I sent this!!!!!! Take Care Louise. x's

This website, like many others on the internet, has words on it. Or in it. Hmm, is a website a tangible object, or a theoretical space? Binary. Magnets, Electricity. Yes. The magnets are alligned in such a way that what you see is a lot of red, with white words contained within, or atop. Give it a zap with some emp and this site may well be pink with big yellow spots on. I hope this answers your question :o)

Now then,
Sharp, witty and posh looking.
As for the owner.... :)

Tikky

Witty? But sir you do flatter me (now, where did I put that pump?).
Hang on, are you implying I'm scruffy? Well that's great that is, you spend hours working on a half decent site, that's compact and perfectly formed (even if i do say so myself), and what should happen? Some joker comes along and slates your personal hygene! Do you think there's enough time in the day to create a website that's the very epitomy of perfection and have a wash?

Rob erm, on this website at 22:31:51 Wednesday September 19 2001
aye, it's red, mines green good red and green aye, no fish or gibbons but red aye red good. RED
Rob

Hmm, don't get too carried away with the colour, it's only an understated theme, not an incitement to open veins :) If you want to see fish or gibbons I'd advise you to go and look them up on Altavista.

I still miss the Future Club and shed a tear for it.
What becomes of Radio Freedom and Force FM now? Do they die with the club?

Bah, my cover is blown ;) As for the future of the station, that's up in the air, for now you'll have to put up with pRam and Pride FM (sorry, if this world had any kind of justice neither station would've been concieved ('course, you could always bomb them ;) (I never said that, ok?))). Of course I couldn't possibly comment on the status of The Force 107.7FM :)

Boy Wonder in guess!!! at 12:55:54 Tuesday October 10 2000

Zap-Robo in Warlock's Lair at 4:13:4 Sunday July 2 2000
Clean feel, economy of design and an integrated colour scheme - nice :)

Why thank you sir. It's good to see you highlighting one of the more minor flaws in UKOnline's CGIs too :) That reminds me, I owe you a logo don't I? Give me a little while and I'll see what I can get together...

bumblee in bumblenut park at 2:46:43 Friday June 30 2000

keith dunlop at home - nil by RISC OS @ work at 10:46:56 Sunday May 7 2000
very groovy. 1 thing - in the byte section why the old RISC OS look?

Erm, well, the look of the byte section resembles my current desktop. I use RISC OS 3.11, as I have done for, ooh, 7-ish very productive years :). One day I'll earn enough for a new (RISC OS 4 - fingers crossed) desktop, I hope. HTH.

Stef in Derby, England at 20:11:41 Friday April 7 2000
Nice site babe, but not as snazzy as mine! :oP
